Our Charter

Haringey SEND Working Together Charter

Parents, carers, and practitioners from health, education, and social care in Haringey have worked together to create the Haringey SEND Working Together Charter.

Children and young people from Haringey entered our charter logo competition, and we had 4 winners.

What does the Charter do?

It sets out the values that underpin good working relationships – kindness, empathy, trust, safety and belonging.

It also sets the principles of families and practitioners working together, and what families should expect from practitioners.

The charter was launched in 2025

The charter was officially launched at the Haringey Voices Day in March 2025. Read more about Voices Day

The charter was well received, and will be rolled out to all schools, settings and teams in Haringey.

Next steps

Following on from this piece of work, families and practitioners will now work together to develop a co-production training package, which will be underpinned by this charter.
